What To Expect

Travel Consent forms are one of the most common documents that we are called to notarize. We understand that you are probably calling a mobile notary because you do not have time to visit an in-office notary. We respect that your time is limited and valuable while preparing for your trip. We will take up as little of your time as possible.

If a parent is consenting for a minor’s travel, we will need to see a form of identification from the parent. Their passport or driver’s license is probably readily available, and it will do.

We will need to witness the signature in-person.

All signers will also be asked to sign the notary’s journal as Kansas has a legal requirement for notaries to maintain a journal, while Missouri strongly recommends it for traditional notarizations.
